i have a date!

I finally have a date to be admitted for my BMT. 12/3/2015. Transplant Day. 12/9/2015!. I am so nervous. But it's been a long road to get to this point. I am ready to get this process started and put all of this behind me. I know it's going to be a long road. But I am ready!

We wish you the best. You have read many of our experiences. Be patient, flexible, get as much rest as possible, experiment with foods that work for you, drink plenty of fluids and ask any question that you might have.

Kamala, I will keep you in my prayers. You are well surrounded with a ton of people worldwide in this forum, always ready to support, give good advice, listen and most of all, understand what you're going through.... Take care, Annette

Kamara, we will be with you in thought. It is quite an experience, but doable. I had no pain at all during the process. The actual transplant seemed like a "non-event" and I slept through almost all of it. One of the hardest parts for me was drinking the two liters of fluids each day after the transplant. For me it was tomato soup that worked best. Remember to experiment to find out what works best for you. We wish you the best!!

Praying for you....and will keep you in my prayers throughout the Christmas season.....as the French say " bon courage".
