strep and low counts :(

I had no symptoms until I got a fever of 104 and went to the hospital. My white counts were so they admitted me and we later found out that I have strep throat. I started on antibiotics yesterday and my fever has stayed around 101 and today they dry throat symptoms started.... after the antibiotics started, isn't that weird ?
