NPlate for SAA
I began Nplate about 6 weeks ago. Today for the first time ever, my platelets rose from 16 to 24. My normal time between platelet transfusions is 9 days; it has been 2 1/2 weeks. I know it's too early to declare victory over one part of my medical quagmire, but it's about the most encouraging thing since I started down the path of MDS, etc. Let's hope for more good news!

Congratulations, Sue. That's great news.
How is your energy level? |
My energy is still low. It must be related to one of the diseases and not my RBC. But then I have roof leaks all over the house, so much of my day is spent swapping out buckets and running the towels through the dryer. Oh, and did I mention the cat that won't use the litterbox?
Wouldn't it be great if the Nplate was truly working? Sue |
