Dad´s MDS to AML
Hi Joy,
You know that when I was informed the dx MDS I realized that I have a very seroius disease and there is a great risk for AML. Only younger patients can get a stem cell transplantation and get cured. I am thankful for every month I get on. There are many links about AML. Here is one: http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/att...1200426633.pdf Hope you find the info you are looking for! Kind regards Birgitta-A 68 yo, dx MDS Interm-1 May 2006, transfusion dependent, Desferal 4 days with transfusion every 6th week, Neupogen 2 injections/week |
