Monosomy 7 and 5q-
I just received a copy of my latest biopsy findings and although there has not been an increase in blasts  , the cytogenic study shows I now have Monosomy 7 in addition to 5q-. Not sure how this is going to affect my prognosis?? I had a CBC done yesterday because I noticed an increase in bruising and a burst blood vessel right below my collar bone. Picked up my report today and it states an accurate platelet count could not be obtained due to platelet clumps. Uggg...I'm so frustrated!
