Yep, the Pneumonia never really amounted to anything. I never even had a cough. I guess the pleurisy that one night was a good alarm that got me the antibiotics quickly, and that wiped out the pneumonia lickety-split.
The emergency room visit, complete with CT Scan, also wiped out my health insurance deductible lickety-split. I think the doc was being extra careful because I showed him my offiicial-looking NIH letter about not having a great immune system and being susceptible to PCP pneumonia. Had it not been for that, he'd have probably just prescribed the antibiotics and sent me home without the scan. But those CT Scans are not cheap!
