[ziad adore my father]

Dear friends;
I cant understand the relation between my father desease (AML) and the fever which comes suddenly and sometime disapear sudenly altough the wbc and the ANC are not to low : ANC=950.
My question is do AML make fever?
How to manage with fever(39c) when we r at homo instead to leave for hospital right away??
Yesterday at night suddenly dad got 39c and we went emergently to the hospital they gave him Tazocin 4,5g Q6hours in addition to Fenelgan.
