In addition to the D3 which I take as well, you may want to consider drinking almond milk. My endocrinologist said that food sources of calcium are better than supplements and that almond milk is a better source of calcium than regular milk. He suggested 2-3 glasses a day. They come in vanilla and chocolate as well as regular "milk". I buy the unsweetened chocolate and add a packet of Stevia and it tastes just like chocolate milk.
