I am very sorry to hear of your dual diagnosis. I'm not aware of another case of both of these diagnoses simultaneously.

I would strongly urge you to do all you can to see a hematologist specializing in bone marrow failure disorders, such as Dr. Judith Marsh there in the UK. I understand she is one of the top specialists in the world for this. I would guess she'd have some insight on how to handle dual treatment.

I think you are completely in the right to be frustrated that your current hematologist can't give you more definitive answers by now. This is a very upsetting situation, that unfortunately seems to happen all too frequently in rare bone marrow failure disorders - i.e. the hematologist takes a 'watch and wait' attitude on something they don't fully understand, instead of referring the patient to a specialist.

Kevin, male age 45; dx SAA 02/2012 - Hgb 5.8, platelets 14, ANC 200, 1% cellularity. Received ATG 03/2012. As of 03/2015, significant improvement - Hgb 15, platelets 158, ANC fluctuates around 1000, Lymphocytes 620. Tapering cyclosporine. BMB 20-30% cellularity.
