Clinical Trials
Hello everyone,
I contacted the American Cancer Society this weekend. It was very informative. They puy me in contact with the Clinical trial dept. I ask for any non chemo, non radiation trials within 250 miles of my zip code. within 24 hours they E-mailed me three trial information packet. 1 @ Johns Hopkins Univerty 1 @ Cleveland Clinic foundation and 1- 20 miles away in Pittsburgh. PA REMEMBER; you CAN recover from Chemo YOU CANNOT RECOVER FROM RADATION I also found on the web site under Comp. & Alternative Therapies many interesting Treatments Please Check it out God Bless VinceR |

Every therapy can carry risks, as can having no therapy at all. It's very individual and personal preference is a factor. My wife recovered from chemotherapy and radiation; together they saved her life. Other choices, including clinical trials, may suit other patients. To get on a clinical trial patients have to meet the trial criteria, which is why it takes a little "shopping" to find trials that they are eligible for. Sometimes getting on a trial also depends on your ability and willingness to travel.
