T-Cell LGL
Hi! So pleased I found this site. My name is Nola I am 70, from Australia and 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with T-Cell Large Granular Lymphocyte Leukaemia (T-Cell LGL). I was told by haemetologist it was a rare type of leukaemia and not a lot is known about it.
I could not find much about it in Australia and was hoping there might be someone within the forums who may have the same leukaemia. I have found some information on USA sites. This was picked up accidently in a blood test and at this stage I do not need any treatment unless the neutrophils go down to .9 or below. (lowest so far is 1.0). Hope to hear from someone. Nola,
I suggest that you post in the T-Cell LGL Leukemia: Trying to connect with others thread. I know that a few forum member have had LGL diagnoses, including McScoover, Susy, and SolidOrange. You could try sending them Private Messages. |

If you are on Facebook, there is a group of people with this.
Type in that name on the very top line that says "search for people places and things" and you will be the 100th member. There is a very active discussion going on that may even help your doctor. Some are even from Australia.
